Ill be at the Mansfield Farm & Cottage Market again tomorrow raising funds for our Farming Mission Trip! I am honored to share the love of God through teaching sustainable farming methods. I made flower arrangements for those who donate a minimum of $20. Ill also have beef, watermellon, okra, purple hull peas, and hot peppers for sale. 8am to noon Saturday morning. 703 E Broad st.

We are excited to announce that i will be going back to Tanzania 🇹🇿 this October to teach farming and plant! I will be partnering with 3 churches while I am there. And.... there is the chance Brandon will be able to join me for half the mission. If you want more information about joining me in this farming mission, or if you would LOVE to donate to the trip, please come to the farmers market tomorrow. Yall! Im bringing a ton of jalipano peppers to the Mansfield Farm & Cottage Market tomorrow. Have you every tried stuffing them with goat cheese, wrapping them in baccon, and cooking them in a skillet? You should try it! Ill also have purple hull peas, spaghetti squash, onions, okra, watermellon, and other hot pepper. Of course we will also have eggs and beef.

My counter is dirty..... but my priorities are not a clean house. They are clean food. When I teach "Farming Gods Way" in Africa I get so many questions about how to deal with pests on crops. My heart goes out to them. Before I started teaching in Africa, my "go-to" was neem oil for my organic gardening. The families in the very rural areas of Tanzania have no idea what that is, nor can they produce it. So, driven by love for these people, I have begun experimenting with pest control using things that they can grow. This is 5 Serrano peppers quartered per jar. Leave it on the counter and shake it 1x per day for a week, then refrigerate until use. In a pump sprayer with 4 gal of water this stuff will make bad bugs die! I am trying to invent a way for people in Africa to effectively apply this because they dont have a sprayer. I am going back to Africa at the end of October to teach and plant again.
