Mitchell Creek Farm Mitchell Creek Farm has been a lifelong dream slowly coming true as my husband and I build our own homestead on our land here in Alvord.

Enjoy the journey with us as we share our building updates and product updates as we continue to settle in here.

The young bucks wanted to participate in “Tongue out Tuesday”.

I have 3 young bucks looking for new homes. This back pasture is a hoot right now though with all the boys in rut. So much snorting and funny faces, bad smells, and head butt battles.

After attending my own event this morning, driving a total of 210 miles, restocking another employee at her event, baking another set of loaves this evening, I am relaxing with a burn pile, a drink, my husband and dogs, with dinner started.

I live a blessed life and I appreciate everyone that makes that possible ❤️

And yes the neighbor also has a burn pile going 😆

“Spurtle”

Weird word right?

But nice kitchen tool for those living in their sourdough era.

It’s long and slender to reach into that mason jar to mix your starter, with a bow artfully carved into it to enhance the mixing.

Cleans easily with just warm water and soap.

Find your Mitchell Creek Farm gadgets at NRH Hive Collective and Wise Roots Farm to Market.
