T🍅MATOES! You love ‘em. We love ‘em. Now it’s time to judge ‘em. The 18th annual Great Tomato Taste-Off will go down on Saturday August 30 from 9am-12pm on Birch Hill. We grew 71 (!) varieties of tomatoes this year, from cherries, heirlooms, slicers and pastes— come and vote on your faves this year.
Of course we couldn’t do this without YOU! We still need volunteers for this event. Are you a tomato lover? Got a couple hours to lend a hand? Peep the link in our bio and sign up— it’ll be fun and you may just get to take home some toms… 🤫🍅

Cherry tomatoes are just beginning! Open in our PYO field for CSA members only, come by Birch Hill today 7-6pm (while they last!) to taste these sweet harbingers of high summer. Look out for varieties: our tomato whisperer Jane W. had diligently labeled each section so you’ll know what you’re picking!

Hey, CSA Members! We can’t wait to see you harvesting this summer bounty tomorrow.

Unbelievably, it’s time for us to start getting fall crops ready to plant, and one of our big tasks is planting 38 trays of leeks for soups, stews, roasting, and more. If you have some spare time in your morning tomorrow, please join us inside BH to seed a tray and imagine how delicious your autumn soups and stews will taste with farm fresh leeks.
