Schick's Strawberry Patch Since 2010, we’ve mastered growing strawberries in the Texas Panhandle. Quality in every bite.

In 2024 we've ditched the dirt for a precision hydroponic system, allowing us to engineer a consistently sweet, premium harvest you won't find anywhere else.

Been awfully quiet lately. Wonder what I've been up to?

Strawberry fans I hate to say it but we are going to call it a season! I've managed to harvest just over 2 pints per plant and just over 1.5 lb per plant! What is out there now is super small and not something I'm willing to put my name on. Heat and humidity have moved in peaking daytime temperatures inside the strawberry grow chamber and kicked the plants into survival mode throwing runners faster than I can trim and sucking up water faster than I can irrigate resulting in small nickel size berries. I will be back next spring and will add to my controls so the irrigation wont be a bottleneck and hopefully bring even more even bigger berries with me!

This week I hauled in the biggest bounty of the season and I've gotta say thanks for another sellout extravaganza!
