🐄 Herd Share Members — Moving Update! 🐄

As many of you know, we will be moving soon! 🎉 Our closing date is September 21st, and we are so excited for this next chapter!

Because moving the farm (and getting the cows settled in!) is a little more complicated than moving just moving houses, we are making a few temporary pickup changes:

📅 Monday, September 21st members:
Please pick up your milk on Saturday the 19th or Sunday the 20th instead.

📅 Tuesday, September 22nd members:
Please pick up on Wednesday, September 23rd instead.

🐄 Wednesday–Saturday members:
Your pickup days will remain the same, but starting Wednesday, September 23rd, pickups will be at our new address.

These changes will give us a couple of days to get moved, get the milk setup ready, and most importantly, get the cows settled into their new home. ❤️

Thank you all for being so understanding and for continuing to support our little farm as we grow! We can’t wait for you all to see the new place! 🐄🥛🤎

Another healthy boy born this afternoon 💙
Good job pumpkin 🎃

Fun fact: we got Pumpkin on Halloween last year, which also happens to be Caroline’s birthday! 🎉

The girls have been chowing down on grass hay this summer! 🌾 In the warmer months, they don’t eat nearly as much alfalfa and tend to choose coastal more. It’s funny how much their appetites change with the seasons!

We are so excited to officially have two mares checked in foal! 🤞🎉

Now comes the longest part… the waiting game! We can’t wait to meet these little ones next year and are keeping our fingers crossed for healthy pregnancies and healthy foals. ❤️🐴

Happy Gotcha Day, Sugar! 🎉🤍

We brought Sugar home one year ago today, and she has truly been one of the best investments we’ve ever made.

She welcomed her second calf a little over six weeks ago and officially made her return to the milk line this week. Watching her settle right back into her routine has been so rewarding, bringing the established girls back is so much better than fresh heifers 😂

We’re so excited for another lactation with this sweet girl. Here’s to many more years with you, Sugar! 🥛🐄
