To clarify a few questions and concerns from our most recent post.

• Fees will not be added to customers accounts if bills are paid on time.
• Late fees along with shut off fees have always been a part of AWA billing structure. Nothing has changed regarding the fees.
• Bills are sent out quarterly and during the same month each year. This is a constant bill date for all customers and has not changed. Customers will still have 3 months in between bills to coordinate payments, make partial payments and prepare for the upcoming bill.
• Facebook updates are only one way we have updated our customers. Letters were included/will be included in your upcoming bill. AWA made the change for the next billing cycle to allow each customer to receive notice, the update is also on our website. Previously it was stated that AWA did not utilize social media so we have adapted to better inform customers.
• Shutoffs will take place 10 days after the due date/on the next weekday. Ex: payment due July 31st, 2025. Shutoffs will begin August 11th
• Ambridge Water Authority is not tax based. Taxes are not a reflection of the water authority nor do we receive funds from taxes.
