Congratulations to our Chairman and CEO, Norm Graves, on his well-deserved retirement!

The Golden Gourmet team celebrates Norm's remarkable career and the leadership, vision, and dedication he has shared throughout the years. While we wish him smooth sailing and plenty of time to relax, we also look forward to the occasional visit to the office to say hello between his boating adventures and well-earned days of leisure.

We are honored here at Golden Gourmet Meals to receive the AED from The Cole Varnum Agency. Thank you for the amazing work that you are doing in our community!!!

The Cole Varnum Agency placed AED (Automated External Defibrillator) #33 at Golden Gourmet last Friday. They received a glass mountable case and two vouchers for CPR & AED training through Americus Fire & Emergency Services.

Golden Gourmet, LLC. is a food service company in Americus, Georgia that produces frozen and shelf-stable meals for various markets, including senior, healthcare, and education sectors.

Should a cardiac event occur, they are now prepared to take quick action and render aid until Emergency Medical Professionals arrive.

An Automated external defibrillator is a device that analyzes the heart and if it detects a problem may deliver a shock to restart the heart’s normal rhythm.

Sudden Cardiac Arrest is a life-threatening emergency that occurs when the heart suddenly stops beating. It affects people of all ages who may seem to be healthy, even children and teens. SCA leads to death in minutes if the person does not get help right away. Survival depends on people nearby calling 911, starting CPR and using an AED as soon as possible.
