🐄🔥 Venison Vines Farm Beef Short Ribs Recipe 🔥🐄

Looking for a cozy, hearty meal using your Venison Vines Farm beef short ribs? This slow-braised recipe makes the ribs incredibly tender and packed with rich flavor. Perfect for a Sunday dinner or special family meal!

🍽️ Braised Venison Vines Farm Beef Short Ribs

Ingredients
• 3–4 lbs Venison Vines Farm beef short ribs
• Salt & black pepper
• 2 tbsp flour (optional)
• 2 tbsp oil or beef tallow
• 1 onion, chopped
• 3 cloves garlic, minced
• 2 cups beef broth
• 1 cup red wine (optional)
• 2 tbsp tomato paste
• 2 carrots, chopped
• 2 sprigs thyme or rosemary



👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Season the ribs
Pat short ribs dry and season generously with salt and pepper. Lightly dust with flour if you want a thicker sauce.

2️⃣ Sear for flavor
Heat oil or beef tallow in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.
Sear ribs on all sides until nicely browned (about 3–4 minutes per side). Remove and set aside.

3️⃣ Build the base
In the same pot add chopped onion and cook 3–4 minutes.
Add garlic and tomato paste and cook another minute.

4️⃣ Deglaze
Pour in the wine (if using) and scrape up the browned bits from the bottom of the pot.

5️⃣ Add liquid
Stir in beef broth, carrots, and herbs. Return ribs to the pot. Liquid should come about halfway up the ribs.

6️⃣ Slow cook
Cover and cook in the oven at 300°F for 2½–3 hours until the meat is fork-tender and falling off the bone.



🍴 Serving Ideas

Serve over:
• Creamy mashed potatoes (I did this!)
• Buttered noodles
• Roasted vegetables

The rich sauce makes an incredible gravy!

Short ribs are one of the most flavorful cuts in a beef share. Slow cooking lets all that beautiful marbling melt down into tender, juicy beef.
