Fresh, chemical free vegetables grown locally on our family farm. Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Memberships.

We operate a 5th generation farm 1 mile southwest of Little Falls, Wisconsin. We transitioned what was a dairy farm for many decades into a produce farm in 2008. Brad named our farm after the locally famous swimming hole on the Apple River just a half mile up the road. Our family has dedicated the last 12 years to raising healthy, chemical-free produce for our local communities, promoting local pr

oducts, teaching farmers and gardeners, and providing our CSA Members with a new, healthy lifestyle. We continue to strive for excellence in all we do and learn new things every year.

OSCEOLA FARMERS MARKET opens Friday, June 12!!!

Shopping at your local Farmers Markets is no longer a 'luxury'. It's now a budget-friendly way to buck the outrageous supermarket prices. ONE energy drink = a large head of delicious, nutritious lettuce, three handsome kohlrabi or a nice bunch of radishes. Kale, arugula, etc. are actually LESS than that same energy drink. For the price of one or two meals out a month, you can get a full summer's worth of fresh veggies to enjoy all month long!!! We know how stretched many budgets have become, and your local farmers, bakers and makers are doing our best to enjoy life with old-fashioned affordable prices.

Summer weekends are for Farmers Markets!!!

How to better celebrate summer than with delicious fresh foods from your local Farmers Market? Skip the supermarket and create delicious and healthy summer meals from local farmers, bakers and makers! We will be bringing loads of delicious greens (incredible lettuce, spinach, bok choy, kale, arugula), radishes, cilantro, herbs, and some delicious canned goods for weekend snacks.

An empty greenhouse means full gardens!!! The final tomato plant of more than 4,000 got transplanted this morning, yay! Several acres are now fully planted and growing like crazy. Our cucumbers, peas and beans should be blossoming shortly. The early greens are all ready to head to the dinner table and our 2nd planting of radishes looks delish for this weekend.

At this weekend's market we'll have... lettuce, spinach, arugula, bok choy, radishes, kale, herbs, cilantro, etc. Hope to see you there!!!

We're OPEN at Market at the 45th !!!

It's a beautiful day to get your first scrumptious garden lettuce of the summer! Also beautiful spinach, arugula, rhubarb, herbs and a wide variety of canned goods.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE...

It's Market Time!!!!!!!!!!!

This weekend is our official opening of Farmers Market Season. We'll be at Amery on Saturday, New Richmond Sunday, and back in Amery on Monday.

It's still very early in the growing season, but we will have lots of fresh arugula, spinach and rhubarb. We will also have baby lettuce heads and some radishes. It's a healthy start to the 2026 season!!!

It was tomato week at Pike Hole Family Farm!!! This garden is now completely full of beautiful tomato plants and most of our 4,000+ tomatoes are out. Acres of our early veggie plantings look great and will be coming soon!

It's going to (finally) be a beautiful Sunday for a Farmers Market at the 45th!!! We'll have delicious arugula and rhubarb at this Sunday's market. We will also have CSA Memberships/Renewals and plenty canned goods available at the market.

Looks like the weather will be nice enough for us to be at Market at the 45th tomorrow!

Meanwhile, we've been busy seeding and planting all day, everyday! We've got 18,000 bean plants and 13,000 sugar snap pea plants transplanted in the garden along with lots of lettuce and greens, cole crops, etc. Also just got the first planting of cucumbers, zukes and canteloupe transplanted out!

We've been busy seeding, growing and transplanting, including a new temporary pepper greenhouse. We just transplanted the first 13,000+ lettuce, spinach, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, kohlrabi, etc. transplants into the gardens. We're hoping to get corn planted early next week, as soon as the soil temp hits 65F. The early warm weather plants are in the greenhouses waiting for the mornings to get warm enough to put them out.

Market at the 45th opens EARLY this summer. The first OUTDOOR Market at the 45th will be Mothers Day, Sunday May 10 from 10-2 at 45th Parallel Distillery. We'll have our canned goods for the first couple weeks, but The Back 80 has high tunnel greenhouses and should have some fresh goodies for you.
