HAPPY CO-OP MONTH! This month, our recipient is Food Co-op Initiative, a 501(c)3 nonprofit that helps communities across the country start and grow retail grocery co-ops. Through direct support, workshops, webinars, and online resources, they make it easier for groups to bring the cooperative model to life.

Join us for a one-hour, all-levels gentle yoga class on Wheatsfield’s deck! Explore gentle movements, postures, breathing techniques, and meditations that relieve anxiety and release tension while strengthening the body. Attendees will receive a discount on a beverage item to enjoy brunch following the class.

Please bring your own yoga mat. In the event of rain, class will move into the community room. Space is limited.

We’ve achieved lower prices on groceries (shout out, Co+op Deals), and we also share ideas and work together on common causes. Through our national cooperative, National Co+op Grocers, independently owned food co-ops are able to scale up the positive aspects of cooperation in ways that benefit our stores, people and the planet while retaining the strength of our community roots.
