This morning we had the opportunity to spend some time at the Montgomery County Fair in Red Oak, Iowa, watching the Production Hog Show.

This unique program gives youth the chance to receive hogs from a single breeder, feed and care for them throughout the project, and gain valuable hands-on experience in the production swine industry.

A big thank you to the Montgomery County Fair Swine Superintendents for choosing Phenotypic Acres genetics for this year's show. Thank you to Chester Williams and Kayla Williams at CDKS Livestock for being great partners in this.

Our passion for this industry began at the county fair, and seeing these young exhibitors learn, grow, and develop their skills reminds us that the future of agriculture is in good hands. We can't wait to see what they accomplish!
