st across from the Emily Dickinson Museum. Wheatberry grew out of our shared passion for amazing tasting, health-giving foods. We started as food lovers, growing our own vegetables and searching for delicious places to eat. After training at culinary school and working in fine dining, we both felt called to serve high-quality foods that could be part of our community’s every day tables. We grew our heirloom tomatoes and sought out local wheat long before it was hip, and remain passionately committed to the flavor, health, environment, and local economic impact of buying ingredients from farmers we know and trust. From compostable to-go containers to countertops made from an old Maine schoolhouse, our values have deep roots. Satisfy your belly and your soul - pull up at chair at our handmade oak stump table and dig in.
