Another busy week. No tilled in the beans and we’re almost half way done with corn.

Last year we started doing a form of bale grazing in the winter. There seems to be less waste than using a feeder. It does take a little more time each day, however it does save quite a bit of time in the spring since we don’t have to spread as much manure. Another benefit is it’s great for the soil. This spot should grow some really nice oats and peas in the spring.

SOLD! Thank you to our buyers. 🐮

Update 12/26 @ 3:16pm- only 1/4 left available

Anyone interested in a half or a quarter of a Scottish Highland beef steer mid January? Or would there be any interest in buying meat by the cut (i.e. ordering through us for individual ground beef, steaks, roasts, etc.)

We are keeping a half and we are just trying to gauge what we should do for the other half.

1/4 of a cow ranges 120-140lbs and you would need to complete a cut sheet before January 5th, 2026. This steer is grass fed and given a very small amount of grain.
