The chicken farmers get $1-$2.50 a dozen eggs wholesales price. 🀯🀯
You as the consumer pay .99-$10 a dozen depending on location and type of eggs.

I sell my eggs directly to customers for $5 and my margins are fairly tight to stay in the black. If the cows didn’t pay for the land I would be in the red most of the time.

Feed per bird a day cost me .10 a day to feed them. With 650 laying birds it cost me $75 a day to feed them 175 pounds a day.

I also have my young that I raise and the expenses from that. Electricity, sawdust, labor and supplies if needed.

Food isn’t cheap to produce! Why should it be cheap to buy?

Sale on our farm fresh eggs.

Our production crew is out doing themselves and I really think they are just showing off.

Our regular price is $4 a dozen, from March 20 thru **April 5th** the price is cut in half. $2 a dozen. The price of feed is still high, so our loss is your gain. I can't stand feeding the eggs back to our chickens and dogs when people need healthy free range eggs.

Today while at the local Apple's Store I stopped and looked at the carton of their $1.88 eggs. I was looking to see where these eggs come from. I found the "Product of USA" label. Do you know what that means? That only means the eggs were packaged in the USA. Same with Smithfield Bacon. Smithfield bacon comes from China. But the package says "Product of USA". Remember that only means the product was packaged here in the USA.

I still have no idea what country the cheap eggs come from. Or how long it took them to be shipped here. But I know our eggs are no more than 2 weeks old, not washed with chemicals and we have happy girls running free in the pasture. Our chickens are not fed raw sewage or manure as done in foreign countries.

Self serve on our side porch in a glass door fridge. If the fridge is empty blow your horn and if we are home we can bring more out. If the sign by the road is covered it means we are temporarily sold out.

46385 Rt 113 in South Amherst just East of Jamie's Flea market. Honor system. Easter will be here soon. Our eggs come in a variety of colors. Brown, white, green and blue.

Shop local road side stands. Support local.

Thank you for your interest.
