Let’s make sangria. 🍷🍊

I loosely followed this recipe, which means I immediately ignored parts of it because I like my sangria a little boozy and a lot delicious.

What I used:
• Camp Viejo Rioja
• Naranja Orange Liqueur
• Raynal Brandy

Original recipe:
• 1 bottle dry red wine
• ½ cup brandy
• ½ cup triple sec
• ⅓ cup frozen lemonade concentrate
• ⅓ cup orange juice
• ¼ cup lemon juice
• 1 orange
• 1 lemon
• 1 lime
• 8 maraschino cherries

Throw it all together, let it hang out in the fridge, and try to be more patient than I am.

I may have gone a little heavier on the good stuff, but that’s between me and my sangria. I’ll report back with the final verdict… assuming I don’t drink it all first. 🍷😂

If you’re wondering whether Mike is ever going to stop talking about his trip to South Africa… the answer is probably no.

To be fair, wines like Badenhorst Red aren’t helping.

This bottle is loaded with dark cherry, plum, baking spice, and just enough earthy character to make you think it costs twice as much as it does. It’s rich, smooth, ridiculously easy to drink, and one of those wines that makes you immediately go, “Wait… how much is this again?”
