We want to thank our amazing community for an awesome weekend! BSA troop 450 and the previous Joseph Kelly Memorial Scholarship recipients did an outstanding job cooking and serving breakfast. It was great seeing everyone and we feel truly blessed to be part of such a fantastic community. With around 1,000 people visiting over the weekend, these two organizations raised nearly $12,000, a new record! We appreciate your role in sending scouts to summer camp and supporting young adults in achieving their dreams!

This warm weather certainly feels great, but it has definitely made the soft and silver maples bud and bloom. The hard maples appear to be holding tight, but we still have one more day of this warm weather. The spring peepers are starting to sing as well. We'll know in a few days if the 2026 maple season is officially over.

The "show" must go on. We just want to thank everyone that reached out in support of Carl and offered their help. We collected 75% of our taps yesterday along with a few new faces collecting a total of 3000 gallons. We were hoping to finish up today, but it's a bit soggy so we'll spend the day boiling what we had collected.

Sorry for the late update on this past weekends Saparoma as this one was bittersweet. We had a record run of nearly 3 gallons per tap and 8,850 gallons total collected. We were able to get it all boiled down Saturday evening and all day Sunday making 6 barrels or 240 gallons of maple syrup.
But heres the bitter part.......on the second to last run back to the woods to finish up collecting Carl's foot slipped off the pedestal of the 4-wheeler. His foot hit the ground and the pedestal hit just above his ankle breaking both his tibia and fibula. He also dislocated his ankle. He had surgery Sunday afternoon and got two pins and a plate to hold it all together. He is in good spirits and will continue to do what he can so he doesn't go stir crazy. Thank you to everyone that has reached out to offer their help and to check in on Carl.

This weather really has the sap flowing! Yesterday we collected some sap from the fullest bags so they didn't overflow and got 1,400 gallons of sap. Today we'll collect everything. Any guesses on the total amount of sap we'll collect from this run (including yesterday's number)?

Judy Earl you'll be happy to know we found a missed section of woods and added another 100 taps to even out the number. We now have a total of 3,000 taps!

Sounds like a great way to celebrate the coming of spring! We delivered a fresh order of maple syrup and maple cotton candy to Miller's yesterday

How great is it that National Pancake Day falls on a Saturday this year? A day when most of us have a little more time for breakfast. Our pancake mixes are easy and delicious especially with add-ins like cinnamon chips or pecan pieces. Top them with local maple syrup and fresh ground peanut butter...so yummy!

Here is a load of first cut grass hay ready to go to a customer tomorrow morning. We have an abundance of first orchard/timothy grass hay available. If you have any friends looking for any send them our way!

It is $7/bale at our market. We offer bulk a discount for orders over 100 bales at $6.50/bale. We can deliver and unload for a fee.
