Rooted in Amherst County 🌾❤️

This next group of sponsors represents something at the heart of the Amherst County Fair Livestock Show — our local farmers and members of the agricultural community.

We’re proud to recognize Hogtown Honey, Walton Cattle Company, Crazy Woman Farm, and Dancing Pedlar Farm for their generous support of our exhibitors and our show.

These are the people who understand the early mornings, long days, hard work, and dedication that come with agriculture. Their support means even more because they know firsthand what it takes to raise, care for, and show livestock.

✨🐖 EXCITING NEW IMPROVEMENTS COMING TO OUR LIVESTOCK SHOW! 🐖✨

Because of the incredible support from our community, sponsors, and everyone who continues to believe in our show, we are so excited to share some new improvements that will make this year’s event even better!

We have been blessed with the opportunity to purchase 5 new hog holding pens for our show ring! These new pens will help improve the experience for our exhibitors and allow us to continue growing and improving our show each year.

We are also incredibly thankful that the Amherst County 4-H Livestock Club was able to purchase a new scale and chute system and is generously allowing us to borrow it during exhibitor check-in! This will be a huge improvement to our check-in process, and we cannot thank them enough for their willingness to support our show.

None of these improvements would be possible without the generous support of Nelson County Farm Bureau and the Nelson-Amherst Beef Producers' Association. Their support has helped us continue investing in our show, our exhibitors, and the future of agriculture. We are beyond grateful for organizations that continue to step up and support our youth and agricultural community! ❤️

A HUGE thank you to Chris Wojo for building our new pig pen system and the new scale chute system! We are so appreciative of the time, hard work, and talent that went into bringing these improvements to life. Chris is also going above and beyond by donating a special gift for every exhibitor, which will be available during check-in! 🎁

It truly takes a community to put on an event like this, and we are constantly reminded of how fortunate we are to have so many amazing people and organizations standing behind us.

One of the best things about the Amherst County Fair Livestock Show is seeing just how many different people and organizations come together to support our exhibitors.

This round, we’re shining the spotlight on Staunton Union Stock Yards, Lynchburg Livestock Market, Pleasant Vista on Dancing Creek, and the Brockman Family!

The buckles for our Amherst County Fair Livestock Show Showmanship Champions are officially on the way! 🤩🐄🐖🐑🐐

Just look at this beautiful piece of work created by Sheridan Buckle Company! 👏🔥 We are so excited to put these in the hands of the kids who earn them through hard work, dedication, and showmanship in the ring.

These are going to be some well-deserved keepsakes for our 2026 Showmanship Champions! 🏆❤️
