𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐈𝐌𝐌𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐀𝐓𝐄 𝐑𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐄: 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐞 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐲 𝐅𝐚𝐢𝐫

Amherst County is pleased to announce the dates for the 2026 Amherst County Fair. Back for the 8th year, the fair will take place the second weekend of September. It will run from Thursday, September 10, through Sunday, September 13.

The fair will once again partner with Cole Shows Amusement to provide rides, games, and carnival food. Entertainment and exhibits will include the livestock tent, 4H tent, competitions, games, sensory play, live music, and more. Information on additional entertainment and exhibits will be shared on the fair's social media and website as they are confirmed.

2026 Fair Hours:
• Thursday, September 10, 5 p.m. - 10 p.m.
• Friday, September 11, 5 p.m. - 10 p.m.
• Saturday, September 12, 12 p.m. -10 p.m.
• Sunday, September 13, 12 p.m. - 6 p.m.

🌟✨ Good Morning Exhibitors & Families! ✨🌟

WOW – what an incredible weekend at the Amherst County Fair Livestock Show! 🐂🐖🐑🐐 From start to finish, the fairground was buzzing with energy, teamwork, and some of the best showmanship we’ve ever seen.

We cannot say THANK YOU enough – to our amazing exhibitors who worked so hard, the parents who support them every step of the way, our generous sponsors who make it possible, the volunteers who give their time, and the spectators who filled the stands with cheers. 💚 Every single one of you is the reason our show was such a success!

Year 2 blew past our expectations and set the bar high – and we’re just getting started! 🚀 We are beyond excited to continue growing this show in the years ahead, and we’re grateful to have such an incredible community to grow with.
