Harvey D Born Farm

A family run farm. Located in Amherst, Ohio. The farm is currently being run by John and Dan Born, with help from the kids Olivia and Evan.

The kids show and sell their market animals(steers and pigs) at the Lorain County Fair. When we aren't farming Evan likes to race his dirt bike and Olivia likes to show her horse Machine My Assets. We grow a variety of crops. We bale our own hay and straw(if we need help baling we will be posting it on here). We have a variety of animals on the farm as well! We mostly raise and breed beef cattle.

In the summer we raise the kids market hogs for fair. We also have goats, chickens, and in the winter months Olivia's horse Milton!

Congratulations to Olivia and Machine My Assets on their Reserve World Championship in Jr Amateur Horsemanship and 9th place finish in Jr Amateur Equitation at the Pinto World Championship Show held in Tulsa, Oklahoma🏆 Thank you to Emily and Jeremy Scott of SS Performance Horses for helping these two reach these goals❤️

This year Evan is competing in the OCA Best Program showing his steer! Over the past weekend we traveled to Columbus, where he did an amazing job fitting and showing. Good Job Evan!
