We are excited to be offering two females out of our donor cow, Red XO Crowfoot Lady 2444Z. Her progeny have consistently impressed us with their efficiency, depth of body and bone and foot. Structurally they are well put together, maintain plenty of pin width and stand down on solid foot and bone. We have mated her to several different sires, and her ability to make good cattle hasn’t disappointed. We haven’t found a daughter we didn’t like and she has been very versatile in the type of bull calves we’ve raised from her flushes. Check out her two daughters, Lot 25 & 26, selling at the NILE on October 16th at 1 PM! Bid online at DV Auction!

Lot 25 in the Prestigious NILE Red Angus Sale on October 16- DCCC Crowfoot Lady 6003. This HXC Allegiance daughter has been a standout from the word go. She is large-outlined, offers a pile of shape and dimension though her middle and ties in a good hip as well. We have noticed throughout the several years we have used HXC Allegiance 5502C that he consistently makes good, productive females and growthy bull calves who put it all together in an attractive package. The dam, Red XO Crowfoot Lady 2444Z, has impressed us with the amount of body and broodiness of her progeny. We have 10 of her daughters going back into the herd from the 2026 calf crop. We are excited to be able to offer two 2444z females at the NILE this year! Check them out!

We are excited to be offering two open replacement heifers at the Prestigious NILE Red Angus Female Sale on October 16th in Billings!

This heifer is Lot 26- DCCC Crowfoot Lady 6051. This is a daughter out of our donor cow Red Crowfoot Lady 2444Z and sired by Duff Red Blood 18114. We really like the way Red Blood has influenced the style and functionality of our females, and this dark cherry red female is no exception. She is smooth shouldered, deep bodied, and balances up nicely. We have retained many females our of Red Blood and are excited for what they have contributed to our operation. Then you match Red Blood with the Crowfoot cow and you are guaranteed solid feet, a good udder, and longevity. The Crowfoot cow impresses us more and more with her calves. We have plenty of her sons that will be in our Private Treaty Offering come spring!

We haven’t been great about pasture pictures this summer but here’s a few pictures of some bull calves on the recips! Despite the hot temps and drought, they seem to be thriving! Fall shots are just around the corner followed by weaning! We are thankful for the recent rains and relief from the hot weather!

The boys had a busy week! Hayes got to mutton bust and Max had his 4-H Horse Show! We’re all trying to enjoy the last few weeks of summer before school starts up again!

And as always we are thankful for Hennessy Livestock Promotions who always captures our favorite memories 💙

Our help is getting handier every day! We had a busy few days moving a few sets of cows and ultra-sounding heifers. Max and the boys were able to do most of it on their own! We enjoyed a few cooler days, but we are praying for some rain after this heat!
