Here at Dry Creek Ranch, it's all about the cow! We are young producers still in the growth phase for our operation. We have to emphasize and focus on the females that go back into our herd. We focus on structure, efficiency, and longevity along with performance. These females need to be good footed, have good udders, and be able to perform in our environment- which includes grazing the majority of the year even during the harsh cold winters out on stockpiled forage or crop residue. Our yearling bulls available are a reflection of the work put into developing our females in our program. Our own focus on sire selection also relies heavily on the dams of those sires. We want our genetics to stem from long lines of proven genetics.
