We love our giant Dewlap Toulouse geese! The Livestock Conservation Society has them listed as a threatened species so we’ve decided to forego all our other water fowl breeds and focus on saving these majestic geese that can weigh over 30lbs each! They are magnificent and are rumored to be to be the species of goose from whom Mother Goose was created. These birds are notoriously difficult to breed and hatch, but we are going to do it! Come take a farm tour this weekend and see these incredible beauties! Book your visit at charminghillfarm.com.

Yay!!! Big Mama and Ms Breezy each gave birth to a baby girl today! These miniature moo-cows are adorable! So small! Daddy Patrick must have taken my threat of becoming hamburger serious after his string of 4 boys in a row. He’s now at 4 for 3 and our farm really needed these baby girls! (Martin is not happy about being ousted as the farm baby…)
