Our pre sale, started bird orders opens on September 1.

NO SINGLE PULLET SALES

We deliver to Ohio National, Cape Fear NC, or Virginia Poultry Breeders show.

All birds are 100$ each( except Sumatra) and sold in pairs or trios.

Sumatra are 150$ LF and 100$ bantam each. Pairs or trios.

We have Ameraucana in solid Black, Chocolate, Ermine and a few Wheaton or blue Wheaton.

We have SOP Welsummer

All birds are grow outs that have made the several cuts to be worthy of their breed/ variety nothing I a cull.
We don’t send pictures or tag birds. We pick out the best of our birds to sell, we can’t keep them all!
If you buy birds from us and meet us at show, if for any reason you are unhappy with the birds we bought we will refund your $$. Fortunately this never happens!

We prefer Venmo ( friends) but a take PP ( friends ) if necessary.

We won’t reserve birds without payment and we sell out fast ( thank you all!) so if you wait know that we don’t bring birds to sell to shows.

Crazy ( long) story !
Three days ago we had a massive storm in the middle of the night that knocked out our power for about 4 hours. I have a GQF running in the hatching room in the barn and it had several trays of eggs in it.
The power came back on about three hours later thought nothing of it. When I did check the entire hatching room was still without power, 9 hours after it had gone out!
I reset the fuse it kept blowing the circuit. Turns out the incubator mother board blew from the power surge and was tripping every time I plugged it in.
Better yet there’s chirping coming from inside and the egg turner is stuck in the middle position so I can’t get anything out.
I cut the plastic hatch tray and retrieve 15 chicks that are stone cold. They are active and dry so I put them in a brooder and all are well. Amazing !
I take about 8 eggs that are actively chirping and nab a broody Ermine, pop her in a dog carrier and hope for the best. She hatched all but one in 4 hours.
The remaining tray of eggs I candle, then put under the light of another brooder.
The eggs are now starting to hatch ! In a brooder! 🤣
Who would have guessed? So much for the infamous “ lockdown” and these eggs were stone cold three days ago. No humidity, no temp control nothing but a light bulb.
Will update tomorrow how many have hatched but last check one more out of the shell and 5 pips I could see!

Checking on grow outs that went outside yesterday. They will do a MAJOR growth spurt now in a few weeks we will be amazed !
Next step is separate into bachelor pens for the winter 😁
