Eternally grateful for Oakley’s consistency, especially when mine is more than lacking. ❤️

Mowgli is a messy eater, but at least he’s cute.
My pretty girls, Oakley and Calamity. ❤️

The last few years created some serious burnout. Especially this past year. It’s been too easy for me to get a bit resentful with myself and my choices. But this? I miss this. I miss this feeling so much. It’s impossible for me to look at these pictures and not see the joy I’ve had working with these incredible horses. I’ll get back into wild ones again someday, but for now life is different and that’s ok. I’ll focus on the horses I’ve been fortunate enough to keep, we all need it. But I’ll continue to reminisce about all the fun times I had with the ones moved on, like Seeker boy here. He was such a challenge, but such a huge blessing. ❤️

They brought some real beauties with them this year! Go check them out if you have time tomorrow and Saturday!
The last three remaining at the farm. (Oakley and Theo are at a friend’s and are not pictured.)
It’s been a bit of a rough year. One challenge being, the farm I’ve been lucky enough to use will be going up for sale. So I’ve been working on downsizing these past few months. It was something I’ve needed to do for a while, but just kept putting it off. For now, Mowgli, Leia, and Calamity are chilling at the farm until I’m given a deadline to finish moving out.
I’m incredibly thankful for the generosity of the farm owners and it has been a heartbreaking process getting everything prepped to move. This place has been a saving grace in more ways than one. But we will just continue to enjoy this wonderful place while we still can. ❤️
Rain showers make these hot July mornings bearable.

11 yr old 14.2hh mare looking for a new home. Solid w/t/c. Rides well in the ring and on the trails. Can be a little slow at the beginning of a solo trail ride, but will move out and ride alone without issue. She can be a little insecure on the ground, but is more confident under saddle. She needs a confident handler to boost her own confidence. She’s a quiet and uncomplicated ride. She warms up quickly to strangers.
No vices under saddle, however she is still apprehensive with her feet being handled. I will usually run a rasp over her feet myself, she also maintains them pretty well on her own. Her only vice with the vet is needles. She usually needs oral sedation prior to those. She can become a little difficult to catch if not handled regularly, but she is easily persuaded with treats or grain and becomes easier to catch the more often she is handled.
Please message me with any further questions. Video under saddle in comments.
Sale of the property I board at is forcing a quick sale. Asking low 4 figures. Located in Castleton, VA.
Pretty boy 😍
It’s so nice to ride Mowgli as a horse I get to keep instead of a horse I’ll have to eventually sell. ❤️
Got Oakley caught up on her routine vet work this month. She had her dental appointment two weeks ago and her acupuncture and chiro today. Starting the year off right. ☺️

Oh so pretty. 😂
I’m so pleased with how everyone looks going into winter this year. Chunky ponies are happy ponies. 😍
Katara has been putting in some really nice rides lately. I'm excited to see how she looks in a few more weeks.
Really loving 🙌🏼
I need to use it when I have better lighting so that my camera quality isn’t so poor, but I really really like being able to watch my rides.
Signs of fall 🍂
I recently ordered a panoramic phone mount from Pivo to record my rides. It was delivered this week and I thought it would be nice to use Mowgli for my pilot ride to see how he looks. He really hasn't had many rides since coming back, but he was the perfect gentleman tonight.
But I'm so excited to have an inexpensive option to remotely record my rides! I won't have to beg my family and friends to come take videos anymore. I forgot to turn the auto zoom setting on and I was quickly running out of daylight, but I couldn't wait any longer to try it out.
If anyone is interested in getting one, I highly recommend joining Pivo Horse Riding Community group.
“Keep me safe, and I’ll keep you wild.” ❤️
First time we’ve ever been able to drag the arena and 😍😍😍. Can’t wait to order one of our own. I can actually use the ring without feeling like my horse is drowning in the sand.
I honestly just feel bad for his pasture mates, I don’t know how they put up with him. 🤦🏻♀️
It’s always so cute when they think I can’t just throw them in reverse and carry on when they want be barn sour. 🤦🏻♀️ Time to go back to work, little lady.
My anxiety grows more and more with each passing day, but I just keep playing this video I took today on a loop and it seems to help a little bit.. This silver mane, soft music, and her plodding hoof beats can bring me back down.

Wanted to give an update on Maggie now that it has been a few weeks in her new home. A local family was looking for a companion for their little halflinger mare, and I offered them Maggie. We wanted to make sure the two got along and they could accommodate Maggie’s somewhat random allergy issues. I may go back to put a few rides on her this spring and show them all her quirks if they decided to ride her, but she really lucked out on a nice retirement home with a family who fell in love with her. ❤️
Working on Theo’s fitness. He’s never had a decent topline, so we’re going to try a few things and see if we can’t improve that. I’m setting up a nice schedule for him and then I’ll try to start him again later this spring. 🙏🏼
Just scheduled a chiropractic and acupuncture appointment for Oakley next week. I’m so excited to have her feeling a little more comfortable. ❤️
Half Circle Ranch always kills it. 😍
If they can’t come out of vacation sane and ready to work, I don’t want them. 🤷🏻♀️
Hitting the trails. Making sure we can ride through the creek and up and down steep banks. Very impressed with Katara’s bravery today. ❤️
Messing around with baby Atticus. You have to have a sense of humor with this boy.
He can be a bit mouthy, so yes, he does get bopped in the mouth occasionally.
I’m hoping to have Katara listed for sale within the month.
She’s a stout 14.2hh, has comfortable gaits, and will be solid w/t/c, trail riding, and hauling when she’s listed. Keep her in the back of your mind if you’re looking.
