Picture it: Miami, 2026… ✨

This past weekend was another shining moment for our very own Golden Girl, Carolyn Kass Falgout— or as we all know her, Mawmaw. 💛

In a truly special honor, the Miami-Dade County International Livestock Show was officially dedicated to her, and she was presented with a Key to the City of Miami by Commissioner Anthony Rodriguez and Sheriff Rosie Cordero-Stutz — an incredible and well-deserved recognition for someone who has given so much to this show.

For the past 19 years, Mawmaw has been a proud supporter of the international show, and it means the world to see that dedication recognized in such a meaningful way.

She also let us know she’s now been made an official Floridian… so naturally, we’re all wondering if that gets us Florida resident rates at Walt Disney World now…👀🏰

Congratulations as well to the show itself on celebrating its 19th year! We are so proud and honored to have played a small part in its early days — and even more special to see it all come full circle.

Surrounded by friends and family, Mawmaw was as humble as ever — just the way we know her.

A special shoutout to Kelvin Moreno and the entire Moreno family of Moreno Ranches, Inc. for their incredible hospitality, friendship, and their hard work and dedication to the breed, the association, and the Miami-Dade agricultural community. 👏

Today we proudly recognize the matriarch of our family and the heart of our farm, Carolyn Kass Falgout, on being named to the American Brahman Breeders Association (ABBA) Hall of Fame.

Anyone who knows MawMaw knows she is a force to be reckoned with. And if there’s one thing in this world she loves more than her family… it’s her cattle (well—most days, at least). Her lifelong passion for the Brahman breed and her dedication to sharing it with others have taken her across the country and around the world, creating friendships that span multiple hemispheres and more languages than we can count.

Fortunately, MawMaw speaks the most important languages fluently: integrity, passion, hospitality, and legendary home cooking.

We are incredibly proud of everything she has accomplished for the Brahman industry, but even more grateful that we get to call her MawMaw.

If you’re attending the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo this week, be sure to stop by and give her a big hug. You’ll likely find her near longtime family friends and partners Walters' Livestock Enterprises at their booth right by the main show ring.

She would absolutely love to see you. 🤠🐂💙
