Meet our 2024 Bois Joli Riesling! ✨

A Ta**us through and through: Rich, playful, a little indulgent, and impossible to rush. Grown on the southwest-facing slopes of Bois Joli Vineyard in the Amity Hills, this limited-production Riesling balances racing acidity with just the right touch of sweetness, layered with clementine, pineapple, starfruit, and peaches and cream.

If this wine had a personality, it would be French disco on the speakers, oysters on the table, and showing up to the patio dinner with the best bottle and absolutely no plans of leaving early. 🥂

The farm stand is overflowing with signs of spring! 🌿 Plant starts are beginning to fill the stand, with cilantro, succulents, goldenrod, fireweed, and more. You’ll also find longtime staples like seeds, herbes de Provence, herb salts, and bay leaves, plus fresh eggs from our very productive chickens. We have purple sprouting broccoli and rhubarb tucked away in the fridge to keep fresh. ✨

Our next Brooks Wine Lab is getting chilly! Join us on June 4th for our Brooks Wine Lab: Chill Factor Lab, featuring Doug, our Director of Hospitality & Wine Club (he may or may not be wearing this outfit 😉).

We’ll be exploring how temperature can completely transform a wine. Taste the same wines chilled, at cellar temperature, and room temperature to discover how temperature impacts aroma, structure, texture, and flavor. 🍷

Whether you are a longtime wine lover or simply curious to learn more, this lab is meant for everyone!

If you have spent time at Brooks, chances are you already know Heather. ✨

As our Director of Shipping & Compliance, Heather has deep roots here. Her father planted the Brooks Estate Vineyard in the 1970s, and today she still lives just next door to the tasting room.

When she’s not keeping things running behind the scenes, you can usually find her on the deck with a glass of Pinot Blanc, surrounded by friends, family, and probably a few chickens nearby. A recent empty nester and proud mom of two sons, Heather brings warmth, humor, and a laugh that somehow makes every room brighter.

Brooks would not be Brooks without her! 🥂
