The drought this year has been hard on us, and we have decided to dry our jersey, Venus, early. We always put our animals and their health first. She is still very healthy, but in order to prioritize her over all well-being she will be dried off a few months early. We will have a limited supply of milk left as she dries off.

These wee little worts are doing great! Sugar was a first time mom and asked nicely for us to let her alone. She is coming around no problem and the babies are warming up quickly. Nothing wins over a kunekune piglet like a belly scratch and some food lol

When you let your cow graze your backyard so you dont have to mow. They come to the door and ask to be let in. Venus and Rosie would like to come in instead of the out now.
