Well, it's finally here!
After three years of promising to build a farm store on our property we finally did it. Ok.. the Amish built it, but we bought it and had it delivered to our farm.
Right now we have thousands of healthy vegetable starts, perfectly timed to be ready for transplanting into your garden on Memorial Day weekend. These plants are the same ones we plant in our fields and greenhouses for our CSA, our farmers markets and several farm-to-table restaurants in our area. The high quality our produce is known for begins with these high quality plants.
We start everything directly from seed here, using a combination of professional potting mix, compost, and our own special blend of organic fertilizers. Never any growth regulating hormones like the big commercial greenhouse plants you find in multi-packs at the big box stores. Our plants are offered in individual 3-4" pots, always cared for by us personally from seed to sale, never stressed. You can expect tomatoes or peppers grown from our plants to be producing fruit at least two weeks earlier than those started from sad, root-bound plants in tiny soil cells.
So, please stop by to say hello and wish us well in our new endeavor. Aside from the plants, you will be able to purchase any veggies we have harvested without having to drive to one of our farmers markets. We can also discuss one of our several money saving CSA options at that time if you are interested.
