FYI there is a TON of misinformation online and in Facebook groups about what candies are or are not gluten free. This is friendly reminder that just because a candy isn’t specifically labeled gluten free doesn’t mean it’s not safe for celiac. This list is based on candies with no gluten containing ingredients + manufacturing statements. Use your own discretion to decide what is and is not safe for you. If you have concerns read the ingredient label and reach out to the company (stop googling) 😊

Valentine’s Day candies to AVOID ❌ as someone who is celiac or gluten free 💌💋❤️

There are surprisingly more gluten free candies than gluten containing candies this year! A gluten free list will be posted tomorrow.

Remember ingredients, formulas, and manufacturers can change at any time so always read the labels/packaging 📦

⚠️ A NOTE ON HARIBO GUMMY BEARS ⚠️
Haribo gummy bears contain glucose syrup (from wheat or corn). Glucose syrup is a gluten removed ingredient and is considered safe regardless of the starting ingredient. The final product should be under 20ppm. I personally prefer any product that has glucose syrup to also have a gluten free label so I know without a doubt that it is less than 20ppm. Haribo doesn’t contain a gluten free label and I personally don’t feel like they are safe for someone with celiac. With that being said it is up to you to determine if they are safe for you to eat or not 💕

Our products may contain traces of gluten. Please always consult the ingredients list on the product packaging. Allergens that are subject to allergen labelling guidelines appear in bold in the ingredients list.

.nevereverfried just opened their 5th location in Arizona & they have tons of gluten free options 😋

Gluten Free Options:
🍗 Wings
🥪 Chicken Sandwich on a Gluten Free Bun
🍗 Naked Chicken Tenders
🥔 Regular Tots
🍠 Sweet Potato Tots

🚨 Make sure to let them know you have celiac/gluten allergy when ordering. Sneakybird does take precautions. Clean pans are used for every order and all wings are tossed in a clean bowl. The tots are baked so you don’t need to worry about a shared fryer.

How I ordered ice cream at 🍦

I ordered:

Here are some things to keep in mind when ordering ice cream:

•Always ask for a new tub or a tub from the back if each flavor doesn’t have its own individual ice cream scoop

•Ask for a clean ice cream scoop

🍰 1 Scoop Gooey Butter Cake

They have 20+ gluten free flavors & 4 of them are gluten + dairy free🍦 Some flavors are available in pints only.

They are not 100% gluten free but do take precautions for those with celiac. Make sure to let them know you have a severe allergy & would like fresh ice cream from the back & a new/clean ice cream scoop.
