I love slow mornings, cooking from scratch, hiking with my family, and finding the magic in ordinary moments. ✨. This little farm is my heart, and I’m so glad you’re here.

Hi friends,
It’s been what feels like ages since I’ve posted. Partly because of the season, and partly because life has just been so full lately (in the very best way)

We started homeschooling last fall, and it’s taken up so much of my time and energy. My kids are still at ages where they need a very present mama, and I’m doing my best to show up fully for them in this season.

Even though I’ve been quiet here, the dreaming hasn’t stopped. I’m still browsing seed catalogs, planning for the next season, and planting a few things here and there. I’m forcing some bulbs, starting to think about seed starting, and slowly easing back into flower mode.

I don’t always have the energy to share it all here, but with the days getting longer, I’m hoping that spark starts to come back too. As spring gets closer, I’ll have more flower things to share and I’m really looking forward to it.

Thanks for being here, even during the quiet seasons 🌷

It’s official- it’s peony season in Alaska!

I’m working on making mixed bouquets and straight bunches of peonies for the Anchorage farmers market AND porch pickup here at the house.

One of my favorite things that I grow here is delphinium. These beauties are from seeds all the way from New Zealand and I just love the colors and shape of them. Although they can be tricky to start, they are easy to care for once they are planted and each year the plants just get bigger and bigger.

I planted some more blue and white this year and I’m so excited to see them once they bloom.

Amazing Parrot - she’s a stunner! I love the apricot and rose colors on this one. She opens up to a bright orange in the center which surprised me but I love it. I’ll have lots of bunches of these amazing parrot tulips as well as others tomorrow at the Midtown Anchorage Farmers Market AND South Anchorage Farmers Market! It’s our first time attending the SAFM and I’m SO excited!

Week Recap!
This was the first week of the Anchorage Midtown Farmers Market! It was rainy and a bit slow but so much fun. Thank you to everyone who came out and braved the rain & cold to support us and all of the other vendors that work so hard to provide local good and fresh veggies. I always load up on whatever I can when I’m at the market, this week it was fresh veggies, mushrooms, and chai tea!

3. Tulips ready to be made into bouquets
4. All loaded up in the truck and ready for market
5. Live music and raindrops and flowers. The market was a whole mood and I loved it.
6. Mushroom haul, these are always so good sautéed in butter

Another trip around the sun for this man that makes everything happen around here! He once joked that now he never has to buy me flowers if I just grow my own. Boy oh boy I don’t know if the realized what he signed up for ha! Honestly everything here was either built by or made possible by Alex.

I love flowers and the dreaming and creativity and beauty in it all, but so much of the labor and hard work is from Alex. I really couldn’t do it without him!

I’m so grateful to have such a supportive and loving husband by my side consistently encourages me hypes me up every day and works so dang hard!

🌷Fresh tulip bunches are ready! Swing by today or tomorrow to pick up some gorgeous flowers for the week.

I've got a mix of Columbus, Alison Bradley, and Dream Touch. These unique tulips have a peony-like double bloom that opens up with multiple layers of petals. They’re not your average tulips! The double varieties like these are what made me really fall in love with tulips
