Head baker and lifelong Alaskan Barbara Strong has been sweetening up family and friend's weddings and special events for years with Parisian macarons, cakes, cupcakes, and other desserts handcrafted from scratch. James, Barbara's brother, brought his background in the restaurant industry (and in razzing his little sister) to the Sweet Caribou mission of sharing Barbara's exceptional sweets with Alaskans. At Sweet Caribou, we use the highest quality ingredients, make everything from scratch, and cook in small batches to create extraordinary desserts. Stop by and pick up a box of our handmade macarons. We will be donating a portion of all macaron sales made from October 22nd through the 29th in support of dining out against hunger.
