Harvest is underway. A rainy few weeks around Thanksgiving delayed the beginning of harvest, but we have started digging this week. Those who have been awaiting notice about when to pick up their trees will be notified when their order is complete and ready to be picked up hopefully in the next few weeks.

We still have a very good selection of trees available, including our most popular maple varieties. Check out our website gorgesfamilytreefarm.com for updates to inventory.

We have graded our expected inventory for this fall/winter’s harvest and are now taking orders. Harvest is expected to begin in late November through the middle of December. If you’d like to place an order or schedule a visit to see what we have, email, call, or send us a message.

Here are some pictures of a portion of this year’s crop.

Edited to add: I forgot to mention that we do have some trees labeled as “park grade”. These would fall into one of a few categories: smaller than 2”, more pruning wounds than typical, or misshapen in some way. They are otherwise healthy trees, just not of optimal appearance at this point in their lives. They are discounted at the price listed on the website.

Update: these trees have been sold and are no longer available.

We had an order cancellation, so we have the following back up for sale: 1 October glory Maple, 1 Chinese pistache, and 1 Allee lacebark elm. Price is $125 each plus tax. Call or message if interested.
