Good morning! I wanted to hop on here and thank everyone for following us! We’ve had a bigger response than I ever expected and we’ve gotten followers from all over North Alabama and Middle TN. I’ve had LOTS of messages and have sold the goats I posted before, they’re just waiting to be picked up. Thanks to everyone who shared!

Because we’ve gotten so many people on here I’ve also gotten some negative feedback I wanted to address. I had one message that said I was way too high priced and they would “never pay more than $50 for a goat.” That is fine, but you probably won’t find a healthy large framed nanny goat from a clean and closed herd at that price. If you do, you should definitely buy it!
Here’s the deal, goat prices are through the roof right now. They were not given to me therefore I can not give them away. Truly, they should have been priced higher than they were to cover the feed and routine medication they’d been given. However we have a short term goal we’re trying to meet and I was happy to help someone get what they were looking for at the price they needed and it worked out for both of us!

That being said, we’re grateful for all the support and responses. Have a great week!

Winifred (we call her Winnie) earned her name as soon as she stepped on the farm with the other 2 Sanderson sisters, Mary and Sarah! She’s got a mean head butt, she is the queen bee around here and she was actually the inspiration for the name Mad Nanny Farms. She’s always mad.

Brand new baby born yesterday! She’s going to be a big girl! Welcome to the herd Wednesday!
