Beyond The Fences

Well we went and did a thing... we are pleased welcome Beauty and her 2025 gelding, Whisper to our herd. This was an unexpected purchase from an Amish gentleman that was looking to make sure they did not end up at auction and thanks to a friend, Michael, having a very close connection with both these horses they have now found their way into our lives. Not sure what the future holds for these two but for now we are enjoying their company 💖

Our hearts are broken today as we had to lay Stevie to rest last night 💔😭 He unfortunately had an accident with a horse and took a kick to his side. We did everything we could for him but unfortunately he wasnt able to survive and we are devastated. So many would have, could have's, should have's but ultimately his time here with us came to an end. We miss him dearly and the barn is so different without his presence but we know he immediately barged threw those pearly white gates in heaven to eat all the chicken food his little heart desires. 😇🪽

We miss you Little Buddy 💗

Mia is such an amazing dog its hard to imagine why she was surrendered to the shelter. She is super easy to live with. Her only vice at the moment is her excitement with cats but we are actively working with her on that and with how smart she is we are thinking it won't take long for her to understand.

The horses have not minded having some puddles to play in 😁

We are fostering Mia for the Animal Protection League in Anderson and she is amazing! How she ended up in the shelter is beyond belief. So far she has been amazing. If you'd like to meet her then please reach out!
