Get ready to unleash your creativity and have a blast with us at Carolina Bauernhaus Brewery & Winery! Join us for a spontaneous jam session with Max Simpson where sign ups kick off at 6:30 PM and the music flows starting at 7 PM. Just like a pickup game of basketball, you won’t know who your fellow musicians will be or what tunes you'll be jamming to, but that's all part of the fun! Our mission is to create an enjoyable atmosphere where everyone can gather, collaborate, and make some amazing music together.

Celebrate with Adam Holmes as he hosts his birthday jam! From punk to rockabilly, country to blues, we welcome all styles and original pieces, so come on out and jam with us.

Immerse yourself in the vibrant local music scene at Songwriter Sunday, an original music songwriter series and open mic. Hosted this week by McCrea Burt, this event is the perfect opportunity to share your music, connect with fellow artists, and enjoy incredible original songs in an inspiring atmosphere.

Fired up to throw dough at Wild Yarrow! Farm-to-Fire pizzas with our signature beer-dough and farm fresh toppings, salads and pickled goods. Live music with Taylor Corum and Rhys Hester 6-9pm. Haus made gluten free dough and dairy free cheese available. Lots of vegetarian options!

The Fermentery Kitchen and Carolina Bauernhaus will be serving up something tasty at the Cabaret Saison Summertime Show! For those who've attended these performances at our Greenville location, you know what a talented group these folks are; and for those who haven't been yet -- why not!?

Copies of the Play it Forward Volume 4 album are available in our taproom, along with a limited edition commemorative poster listing all of the artists. Releasing the album on streaming platforms next month!

Hagood Mill Historic Site is thrilled to announce the return of the annual Americana Folk Festival on Saturday, June 20, 2026, with a full day of soul-stirring music, Appalachian tradition, and community celebration.

Join us Saturday, June 20, 2026 from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM for a full day of live Americana and folk music, Appalachian heritage, artisan demonstrations, food vendors, and family-friendly fun at Hagood Mill Historic Site!

🎤 Featuring performances by:

• Rachel VanSlyke – A talented Upstate South Carolina singer-songwriter known for her heartfelt lyrics, soulful vocals, and acoustic Americana style. Rachel’s music blends folk, country, and roots influences into performances that are both intimate and emotionally powerful.

• Helen Campbell – A rising folk and Americana artist whose warm voice and thoughtful songwriting draw inspiration from Appalachian traditions and contemporary acoustic music. Her performances capture the spirit of storytelling that defines the Americana genre.

• Angela Easterling and Friends – South Carolina-based Americana artist Angela Easterling is celebrated for her rich songwriting, Southern storytelling, and distinctive voice. Blending country, folk, and roots influences, her music has earned national recognition and praise for its authenticity and lyrical depth.

• Appalachian Son – Bringing the spirit of the mountains to the stage, Appalachian Son combines traditional Appalachian influences with modern folk and roots music. Their performances celebrate the culture, stories, and sounds of the Southern Appalachians.

• Doug Hendricks and Friends – This talented duo delivers beautiful harmonies and heartfelt acoustic performances rooted in folk and Americana traditions. Their blend of vocal chemistry and emotional storytelling creates a captivating live music experience.

Experience the sights and sounds of Appalachian tradition as the historic 1845 grist mill operates throughout the day producing fresh stone-ground grains available for purchase. Guests can also enjoy living history demonstrations including blacksmithing, weaving, flintknapping, and more.
