We create award winning complex, regionally grown, full-flavored craft b**r, ciders and seltzers, while cultivating a community through craft brewing innovation, sustainable agriculture, education, collaborations, festivals and charitable events. Our hand crafted ales pay homage to the rich agricultural resources of Upstate South Carolina by using locally sourced malt, grains, yeast, and hops. While our brewing techniques may be Belgian inspired, our b**rs are by no means reverent to tradition. From Carolina Bauernhaus’ taproom and production system in downtown Anderson SC we will strive to create a family of unique b**rs that range from approachable saisons to challenging barrel aged sour b**rs.

Big thanks to ALL of you that have been pouring in the excellent 5 star reviews on Facebook, Google and across the interwebs. We will keep pumping out the Farm to Fermenter goodness, you keep those reviews coming! Awesome to make the list of top 50 restaurants in SC, with some GREAT company on the list. If you haven’t been in recently, come try the plethora of fresh products from our local farms like the Farm to Fire pizzas, smoked wurst with Haus kraut and b**r mustard, seasonal pickle plates and weekly specials.

Our cofounders, Casey & David, maintain a regenerative 80 year family farm in Walhalla to bring fresh ingredients for our menus and fermenters, now producing South Carolina’s first minimal intervention wines! 🥂
