Well, thanks to Homeland feed I have all my awesome feed here at the new house- I just have to tote smaller bags back to the old house for my animals to eat till fencing can get fixed here. 😂🤪 One day at a time!

Moving has been such a mess. 🤣 We were hoping to get our animals moved this next week but instead our insurance is making us replace the roof ASAP. Thankful I married a machine, and he has gotten everything stripped and ready for shingles-but we are missing our animals! Hopefully after this project finishes up we can get our fencing done and get our critters over here. I look forward to sharing pictures of our amazing property! We are so grateful for the blessing of a house, even if it has been a very high stress time. 😂😂

If you haven’t seen me lately you may not have heard we have been in escrow to move to Happy Valley! We have been busy packing and trying to get ready, and my cucumbers kept coming despite all my canning equipment being packed… I guess they didn’t get the memo to pause for me so I can get caught up. So, I tried some quick pickles for the first time and they’re awesome! I definitely will do this again because they retain their crunch much better than the water bath canned pickles I usually do.

If anyone has any good brine recipes comment them, I like a good dill but wouldn’t mind trying something new.

I am getting inundated with produce😍 😂. I often wonder how a lot of homesteading pages keep up with life and posting content all the time… just know if I’m not posting, I’m probably trying to find more counter space for tomatoes.

We went to Serendipity U-pick Farms in Anderson (off Dersch) this last week, and it was the best! So much fun and the juiciest peaches. And only $3 a lb!!! I will be back 😍

I’m getting some bags ready for pickup today and the chickens came to see if there’s any extra for them 🤣 they smell something tasty!

We got up before the heat and got 20 bags of layer feed bagged up and ready to sell this week!
