June is Dairy Month and around here it's dairy month every month! We take pictures of beautiful goats, their mammaries, their kids, and of course cute moments too but this right here is what we are after morning and night. Raw, beautiful, dairy goat milk. Specifically Nigerian milk. And this year thanks to my sister in law I have KEFIR GRAINS! I am a believer in natural things to help ailments. I suffer from something called dyshidrotic eczema (look it up, it's awful) yet since using kefir I noticed my hands are so much smoother. To sweeten it, I add in some of our raw honey my dad and I harvest from our bees yearly 😋 This is just one way I use our amazing goat milk! Happy dairy month! 🥛

Getting ready for another show and this time I get to show too! 🙌 Not all 7 who were clipped today are pictured but a couple were good as angels (*cough cough Butter & Alice) some were lazy about it and pretty over it (ahem, Puff, we are looking at you!) and some just plain didn't want anything to do with this show thing (Lola, & Fortissimo) and then there were the 2 who were really just there for the cookies...Twist and Pecan 🤣

Last night at around 2:45am Aurora started pushing. She had quad does! One was sadly DOA, looked to have died a couple days ago which likely caused her to go on gestational day 143.
The gold and white doe is 4 lbs whereas the other two are 2.0 and 2.2 lbs so she is obviously double their size! They are all 3 healthy and happy. Aurora did phenomenal, spitting them out like a pez dispenser one right after the other. She dropped her first placenta but then started "pushing" and so we have a second one hanging today. Caden and I have been doing everything we can to keep it clean, put a tad bit of weight on it and stimulate continued contractions. Our prayer is it drops very soon.
So what do we do with these girls?! They are sired by Cade's Lil Farm AX LeRoy 💜 one will likely be retained, but which one I am not 100% sure yet. We will contact ones on her reservation list and then go from there! I am so excited about Aurora and her potential this year!

We have a couple of milkers 👀 for their new 🏡
First up is Hill Valley Buttery Mayhem. Mayhem is a Nigerian Dwarf doe registered via ADGA and AGS.

She is a 2 year old 2F and completely milk stand trained and super easy to lead or do anything with and is a complete sweetheart. She freshened with quads this year easily and is currently IN MILK. She has a really nice high and wide udder that is snuggly attached. We are sad to see her go BUT we are continuing to cut numbers need to make room for yearlings who will be freshening next year plus we retained her daughter this year. We will be attending the SMDGA summer classic in Harriman and this girl could be picked up from there if you're interested. Please PM if interested.

Well Imma had a big single buckling late this afternoon around 4:30/5pm! She had me nervous for a bit because there wasn't much progress being made until stimulation and then out he came! He looks remarkably like his sire Cade's Lil Farm AX LeRoy and has blue eyes. He will be available after weaning. Imma will be 2 years old June 9th and is a first freshener so I'm excited to see what her mammary is like! She already has a very nice foreudder 😍
