Got some 1st today!! Eradesil’s first (short) ride and other than munching on a few emotional support leaves, she was happy and calm the whole time. Idunn aka Baby Dragon that like to turn into a Jack-in-the-box, had her first mostly unassisted ride. She was little confused about not being connected to a human so the ride ran out of quarters real quick. Baby steps as always with her.

sunday marked the 2 year anniversary of saying goodbye to the soul of the farm. He was every childhood horse fantasy come to life. He was the reason we started a breeding program. He was a big brother for my kids. He was their first ride on a horse. He was our watch dog, our best friend, a pain in the butt (and he knew it). He was a part of our souls for 22 of his 24 years and his loss still physically hurts just as much two years later.
