On the farm...

With the lack of newspapers being delivered. The birds have found a new place to build a nest! Currently, the Tuftid Titmouse bird has made this home!!! 🐦

On the farm...

Today, was the release of the Pekin ducks! We released 8 out of 9. The little guy stayed in the coop for now. The rest of the darker/black ducks are still in the coop for now.

When we checked on the young Pekins. They were staying close together and are doing well! 🦆

On the farm...

The geese are enjoying a clean bath in the shade of the mulberry tree. We had decided it was a good day to dump the old green funky water and replace it with fresh clean water. The geese took right to it. While the ducks approached the water with cation! 🦆

It was quite tranquil to sit on the new steps to the 'Chicken Chalet' and watch the foul play while they enjoyed the water! The wind was just right too. Not too windy but calm enough to have air flow.
