Vandina Homestead Where happy chickens live. Having been several years since the streets of Chicken Town were abandoned, it has resurfaced as Windmill Farm.

Our comeback is starting out with a small herd of Nigerian Dwarf Goats and a few chickens. We are currently breeding Delaware chickens (meat chickens). We will also begin breeding additional varieties in the future. We are taking delivery of 5 blue copper french marans chicks soon, so those will hopefully be breeding by 2024. We will also be breeding silver wyandottes a little sooner and will be s

eeing those soon. We'll post pictures when we have our hatchings. We'll also bringing onto the farm a mated pair of geese. So we'll soon have both fertilized eggs and goslings available. Anyone wanting to purchase chickens or geese to butcher will have a 50% discount when agreeing to butcher a second for the homestead. If you are interested in anything for sale, please send us a direct message. We are open by appointment only. Most of the farmstead works online at home and cannot come to the door at all times.
