Showing off the first blooms of the year! Anemones have always been a favorite of mine. My first “trial” year flower farming I stuck some anemone corms in the ground and hoped they’d grow until I realized they need to be covered during the colder months 😅 This year I added a couple of new colors to the mix. Which color is your favorite?

Working on placing my seed order tonight. I love dreaming up all of the possibilities. It gets me so excited for the season to come! Inevitably, I will order way more seeds than I can possibly plant but they’re just too pretty to pass up 😂🤷🏼‍♀️

Dreaming of warm days on the farm and big fluffy peonies. How incredible are these flowers? The buds are about the size of a golf ball when you pick them and five days later they’re bigger than my hand. It’s amazing! Hoping 2021 will be filled with lots of these beauties. It can’t come soon enough 🙃

This is my third year trying to successfully grow dahlias. Each year I get a little bit better at it. I had almost given up on them this year and then I was surprised with these beauties. Fingers crossed I’ll have tons of these next year!

Throwback to last year when we built our flower trailer and hauled it around Raleigh all summer long! This summer has been much different but we still had so much fun delivering flowers to your doorstep. We miss meeting you all at pop up markets and we can’t wait to see what next year brings. Thank you all for following along ☺️

Cosmos are such an easy to grow annual and they add a fun pop of color to a mixed bouquet. The unique foliage is a perfect filler too!

We are headed out to the farm today to w**d and deadhead the flowers. These are my least favorite activities (especially in 90 degree heat) but it’s necessary. At least I get to look at all of the colorful summer flowers growing right now! Hope you’re all having a relaxing Sunday 💕
