Just another Wednesday on the farm! 🚜💨
Farming is just like any other business—no project ever goes exactly to plan. Today, we’re prepping the Savage sprayer. We always make sure to test it with water first before adding any chemicals. Why? Because if there’s a clog or an issue, the chemicals will just settle at the bottom and completely ruin your spray nozzles.
Of course, today decided to throw a few curveballs our way. First, the tractor didn’t want to crank (third time’s a charm, right?). Then, once we got the PTO running and the blower revved up... bone dry. No water. 🛑
It looks like we either have an issue in the electrical system, or the nozzles are backed up from the sprayer sitting. Time to do what farmers do best: troubleshoot! 🔧

Good morning everyone! ☀️🚜
It’s another beautiful day out here at Ronnie’s Berry Farm. The pecan orchard is looking absolutely stunning after a round of pruning, and now it’s time to give these trees the protection they need.
Today, we’re getting ready for our very first spray of the season! We’ve got the water tank filling up, the sprayer hooked to the tractor, and our application ready to go.
Why do we spray? While the shade from the beautiful raised tree canopy is perfect for a morning picnic, it also creates an environment where fungus can thrive and bugs can build up. We’re doing a very light application today to prevent that undergrowth and keep our pecans as healthy and protected as possible! 🥜✨

Patience is a virtue, but blueberry season is a reward! 🫐🙌
Our blueberries are officially moving into the “pink” stage! While that super cold winter put us on a slightly slower schedule, these beauties are finally waking up. We are looking at about a two-week delay compared to usual, but they are growing beautifully and getting plump!
📅 Current Forecast: We’re crossing our fingers for some early ripening at the end of June, but expect the full “blue” harvest to be ready at the beginning of July. ☀️
The wait only makes them sweeter! Make sure you’re following us here and on Facebook to get the “Green Light” alert for picking day. 🔔
