It may not look like much.....but this equals 14 cakes baked this weekend, and those big cakes are 14" monsters tipping the scale at probably 20lbs each. So hard to handle....for me anyway. I was legit tired after this round of cakes.

🎣 EVERYBODY NEEDS A LIL TIME AWAY 🎣

Finally, after many delays....the hubbs took me to my favorite place, to do my favorite thing🐟🎣. Its been a whirlwind of a year, and just to get out on the water, focus on God, spend alone time with my sweet man, relaxing in the boat🛥 he built for me, with no distractions, no phone calls, and nothing to worry about, was much needed and truly amazing. Six days and six nights taking in Gods glorious creation ☀️and I am so grateful🙏 for the ladies that helped make it possible for me to be gone.

~ Emma Bench ~ my "go to" girl when I need help decorating🎂. She is simply amazing and I am blessed she is there for me. I had quite a few orders while I was out and she took care of them flawlessly. And Tammy Jensen, just an all around saint😇. She is the only person that we have ever used to take care of our furbabies🐕. They love her so much and she loves them🥰....sometimes I think they're sad to see her go....she spoils them rotten and may pass out a few treats 😆.

YALLLLLL....L👀K HOW CUTE THESE LIL "EMPTY TOMB" CAKES TURNED OUT!! I made one for each of the ladies in my Sunday School Class on Easter morning 🙏💙✝️

EMPTY TOMB ~
Banana cake TOMB with a German chocolate mini stone, salted caramel buttercream, and cinnamon brown sugar crumble and of course a little "risen" Jesus 💜

Easter cake ~
Half Chocolate half vanilla cake cover in vanilla buttercream decorated to match the chicky-bunny box 🐰🐥

Lemon Blueberry cake ~
Lemon cake with a blueberry reduction, lemon fill with fresh blueberries and a lemon, vanilla buttercream with blueberry compote mixed in🍋🫐

Chantilly cake ~
Vanilla almond cake infused with a fresh berry simple syrup, fresh berries in between the layers and the absolute perfect chantilly frosting ive ever made ~ yayyy!!! 🫐🍓🍰
This chantilly cake turned out PERRRRRFECT!! THANK YOU TO EVERYONE THAT GAVE ME TIPS TO HELP ME WITH THE FROSTING!! IT WORKED!!!!

# "78" cake ~
Yellow cake with chocolate buttercream in between the layers decorated with a sweet, simple design (I forgot to take a picture - hopefully my client will send me one🤞)

Banana cake ~
Banana cake with a salted caramel cream cheese frosting (also not pictured - this happens when im in a hurry and forget to take pics 😭)

1 dozen cross shaped iced sugar cookies (not picture....wow...clearly dropped the ball this day on pics)

10 DOZEN CHICKY-BUNNY BOXES!!

🎂🎂🎂👩🏼‍🍳 BUSY BUSY WEEKEND 👩🏼‍🍳🎂🎂🎂

WHAT A WHIRLWIND OF CAKE BATTER AND BUTTERCREAM 🫣!

I was blessed to be intrusted with yet another wedding. This one was like nothing I've experienced before. Held at the Lonestar Flight Museum with a really sweet love story behind it, the hanger was filled with not only the space shuttle, but numerous historical planes over 300 candles and the most beautiful cake everrrrr, 🥰....the atmosphere was simply amazing.

Emma Bench my side kick, my right hand, my partner in this crazy cake decorating business I love so much. I am always amazed at her work and creativity, and I would not want to do this without her. We have the best time(including the oil spill 🤣🤫😉)doing these events and I look forward to the next one🙌.

Several other cakes under the belt to finish out the weekend and I havent looked forward to a Sunday rest day like this one in a minute.

This couple asked for a small, 2 tier strawberry cake, iced with vanilla buttercream "naked", and 8 dozen gluten free minis which included strawberry, chocolate, carrot and salted Pecan.
