For the past three years we’ve planted pumpkins in our traditional garden. First year we did okay and got four pumpkins (just enough for the family to carve), but every year after that we’ve been burdened with powdery mildew that just kills them before they get bigger than a softball. This year after a failed seed starting, we said fu€k it and threw a bunch of pumpkin seeds in our compost. 6 weeks later…
