Like any traditionally full method sparkling wine, our One & Only Blanc de Blanc benefits from time. A few years of aging allows the wine to develop deeper depth, texture an additional character — reaching the potential we intended from the vineyard forward.

For us, age ability begins with how we farm. Certified organic farming is not separate from winemaking; it is part of the character of the wine. Mother Nature gives us the vintage, and our job is to follow her lead.

We do not make wines simply for immediate release. We carefully craft a wine with patience never rush it through. We hold wines back and give them the cellar time they deserve, and you cannot rush what takes time to develop.

From the vineyard, through the cellar, to the years spent aging in bottle, the One & Only reflects the way we have always approached wine at Neal Family Vineyards: farm with intention, make it with integrity, and give it the time it needs. The One & Only label pays homage to my parents and their timeless love story.

Neal Family Vineyards has been committed to generational farming, from soil to bottle for six decades.

Keeping each step close has been passed down through generations and allows us to remain connected to the wine throughout its entire journey.

For us, certified organic farming is not a trend. It has been a lifelong commitment since 1984, protecting our soils, our environment, and the future of the land. In 2007, we brought that commitment full circle by producing certified organic wines, extending that care from the vineyard to the consumer.

Summer is not only for white wine.

A well-made Cabernet has a place at the summer table, especially when the grill is going. Our 2021 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon brings together fruit from Rutherford and Howell Mountain, balancing generous dark fruit with the structure and freshness to stand alongside summer barbecue.

Awarded 94 points by Wine Enthusiast, the wine opens with black cherry, black currant and blackberry, layered with star anise, espresso, clove and cedar. Firm, supportive tannins carry through to a long, dry finish.

Open it early, give it some air, and serve it with grilled steak, ribs, lamb—or simply a long evening around the table.

Farming matters. Place matters. And in the end, the proof is in the bottle.

This Father’s Day, we celebrate Mark Neal.

A lifelong farmer, vintner, and steward of the land, Mark has shared his knowledge of farming and viticulture with people around the world. But the lessons closest to his heart are the ones he has passed down to his children: respect others, care for the land, and honor Mother Earth.

Those values live in the vineyards, in the family, and in the wines we are proud to share.

Wine Enthusiast recently shared a great piece on white wine alternatives to Sauvignon Blanc, highlighting varietals like Albariño, Vermentino, and Assyrtiko.

At Neal Family Vineyards, these wines are not a trend we are chasing. They are varietals we have been growing, farming, and making with intention.

Our first Vermentino was produced in 2021, and since then our white wine program has continued to grow with expressive, certified organic wines that bring freshness, acidity, minerality, and a true sense of place from our Rutherford Dust Vineyard.

For us, varietal diversity starts in the vineyard. It is about listening to the land, farming responsibly, and continuing to explore what Napa Valley can express beyond the expected.
