It’s hard to believe, it’s hard to say out loud… We are releasing our last ever vintage of Stellareese Wine this Tuesday.

Just 175 cases of our Marcey’s Vineyard Calistoga AVA were produced. 2019 was the last year we made Stellareese wine.
When I started Stellareese in 2007, I had no grand plan, just a dream to make delicious wine. We’ve had a great run and with Geoff at the helm of our winemaking since 2013 we have produced some seriously impressive wine and I couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve achieved.
But we finally had to realize that making great wine doesn’t always pencil into making an income.🤣
You’ve heard how it can go for small producers; dramatically increased costs of grapes, production & the inability to get insurance after the fires.
All these things played a part in our decision and having a $65 Napa Cab was unsustainable.
We’re proud to share with you one last delicious vintage!
Thank you to all of you who have cheered us on and supported our project. A huge thanks to Jack and Marcey Smith who always supported and encouraged us and are the owners of the vineyard where all of our Cabernets originated. And to our families for believing in us, cheering us on and drinking wine like it’s water.
