I don't write a ton of these things, so bear with me. First off, I just want to give all glory and praise to God!! I am so thankful for all of the blessings He bestows upon me! He is my rock and my fortress!! So, my name is Nick Rahe and I am the owner of Cheeses n' Jesus Cheesecake Co. My wonderful wife, Melissa, and I live in Ankeny and love every aspect of our lives here! (As you have probably
already gathered, our faith is incredibly important to us. Thanks be to God!!)
I have to admit, this cheesecake business endeavor is a rather new and surprising one for me! After spending much time in prayer and discernment, I felt the Holy Spirit tugging on my heart and decided to take the plunge and start my own business. (Prior to five months ago, I had never made a cheesecake in my life. Now, I am on fire for it!) Thanks be to God, I happened upon some incredible cheesecake recipes and people are loving them! As with any business, I need to make money to stay in business so any business you send my way I will gratefully accept! However, making money is just an aside for the real purpose of the business which is evangelization. I would never say that evangelization has been one of my charisms, but the Holy Spirit has moved me to evangelize in this way. How is God calling you to evangelize? However God is calling you, just know that my prayers are for you in your own discernment process. We are all brothers and sisters in Christ, and the best way to lift each other up is through prayer. In closing, I would just like to say thank you again for your support! I will leave you with one of my favorite Bible passages that helps to guide me:
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, on your own intelligence do not rely. In all your ways be mindful of Him, and He will make straight your paths. Proverbs 3: 5-6
