💛 GLAZE IS MOVING! 💛
With a heavy heart but a bright vision, I’ll be closing the doors of GLAZE Studio at 36 N. Huron this weekend.
The past year has brought some real challenges, and after falling behind during a particularly difficult stretch, I wasn’t able to get caught up quickly enough to remain in our current space.
But GLAZE is not closing. We’re moving.
I’m going to take the next few weeks to regroup, secure funding, and find the right next home for GLAZE — one that gives the studio room to grow into everything I know it can become.
🎨 FINAL WEEKEND + MOVING SALE
FRIDAY: 5–8 PM
SATURDAY: 1–5 PM
If you have pottery waiting for you, please come pick it up! If you have an unfinished piece, you can take it home along with glaze to finish painting it.
I also need to clear out the studio, so I’ll be having a BIG MOVING SALE with discounted bisque, ceramic molds, glaze kits, art & craft supplies, decorative items and more.
Coming by the sale is also a wonderful way to support GLAZE through this transition and help fund what comes next. 💛
Can’t pick up your pottery this weekend? Don’t worry — your pottery is safe. We’ll have options for shipping, later pickup nearby, or holding it until GLAZE has its new home.
In the meantime, GLAZE will continue popping up in the community with classes and workshops — including Halloween workshops beginning in late August/early September. 🎃
This isn’t how I imagined leaving 36 N. Huron. But I’m choosing to see it not as an ending, but as a very abrupt push into GLAZE’s next chapter.
Thank you to everyone who has painted here, celebrated here, taken a class, brought a friend, made something wonderfully weird, or simply walked through our door.
More soon.
