We will be at Eastern Market this Sunday 6/07 in shed 6! This Sunday at the market is also VegFest, so come see us and enjoy the fest!

As usual we will also be at market every Saturday in Shed 4. We’ve got a variety of Certified Organic veggies, herbs and fruits! 🌿🫚🍉

WEEK TWO CSA MEDIUM SHARE

Happy Sunday! Here are some tips for our week two organic csa share 😎 This week our csa boxes have the following organic produce:

• bok choy
• asparagus
• flat parsley
• maitake mushrooms
• green garlic

Medium share shown in this reel have extra asparagus, mushrooms and parsley 🌿 Stay tuned for some maitake “fried chicken” and waffles this week! These mushrooms have a similar texture to poultry making it an excellent sub for our vegan and plant based folks ✊🏼

The summer 2026 CSA season starts soon. We offer 10, 20, and 30 week options, as well as different size options. Questions about what’s right for you and your family? Just send a message either through DM or via our email listed on our website!

Our CSA includes a variety box of in-season certified organic produce delivered right to your door once a week. We provide weekly newsletters explaining the items in your box and recipe ideas. Our CSA is a great way to connect with your community, eat in season organic vegetables and fruits, and support small family farms in Michigan.

On Thursday February 05, 2026 we were honored to receive the 2025 Saturday market MVP award at Detroit’s Eastern Market annual merchant and vendor dinner.

We are humbled to receive this award and thankful for the support of so many for Country Valley Farm and our work. As we accept this award we reflect on 2025 and look ahead.

Our thanks go to the creator, our Mother Earth, our family and friends, folks that have put in countless hours giving work to the farm in various ways, our customers near and far, Eastern Market staff, and all of the other vendors and people at the market that make it what it is.

We are also very grateful to others in the community that have contributed to our farm’s ability to continue our mission to expand access to certified organic fresh produce and celebrate life with food. Country Valley Farm would not be what it is if it were not for the wisdom sharing and encouragement of our mentors and elders, the collaboration of other farms, small businesses, distributors, stores, vital institutions, organizations, and restaurants.

Eastern Market is a historic and special place. It has an expansive space across so many sheds. It is surrounded by legendary small businesses old and new that contribute to the uniquely Detroit vibes and atmosphere of the area. For us, Eastern Market is also a place of family memories that extend across generations and life experiences. To be given the opportunity to vend at Eastern Market has been remarkable. We look forward to continuing to do our part in the community!

While the garlic field is resting - we will be at Eastern Market in Shed 3 for the winter months every Saturday with fresh certified organic produce. Thankful for all of the folks that come out rain or shine, sleet, snow, and ice.
