4th of July plates while visiting in-laws and family time in Kentucky! The best food 😍

When we travel down south, we always make a stop at my favorite chain Chicken Salad Chick and I got my favs - Jalapeño Holly, Cranberry Kelli and the seasonal Maui Mama 🌶️🍍🥓

Mothfire Brewing Co. ipa at 8 Ball Saloon while celebrating a friends bday🍻🎱

My fav truffle fries from Jolly Pumpkin Cafe & Brewery while downtown with friends! 🍟

Had to stop at Aventura for their Frozen coffee cocktail during Ann Arbor Art Fair, they really need to put this on the menu all summer long it was dangerously good 🫣 like a frozen espresso martini!

One of my fav adventures from July was going to the Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy in Detroit! They had 4 themed cocktails that you drank while 4 of his popular stories were read aloud and performed. It was truly an amazing evening and date night, for any Poe or poetry lover 📖

Tried the rooftop Pine Hall that’s newly opened downtown Detroit in the Hudson’s Detroit building! A very long wait, but beautiful views and amazing food! This burger was one of the best I’ve ever had 🍔

Tried a new brat flavor at BIERCAMP - pineapple, bacon & jalapeño 🥓🍍🌶️ honestly one of the best flavor combos ever!!

Ended the month celebrating my bday early with my two besties who live on the West side of the state, at Butchers Union 🍴 one of the best meals I’ve ever had, we loved this whipped feta app! I wish they had one closer!!

Finally tried out sml wrld :) and got their iced salted maple matcha 🍁🍵 Also got to see a fav band Michigander live, outside Michiganderhine☀️at Liberty Plaza downtown Ann Arbor, for FREE! Sonic Lunch is part of what makes summers in Ann Arbor better than anywhere else. That, and so many tasty matcha spots. This is def a new favorite and I can’t wait to go back to try more!!

Sunday Funday date with my love last weekend at Zola Bistro 🥂 Started with oysters and an Aperol spritzy, then got my tried and true, FAV salmon burger in town. They’ve had this the last 6 years I’ve been coming here and it always tastes amazing 🤩 I do take the onion and tomato off though, but their salmon is fresh and seasoned perfectly! I add the mango salsa it comes with and the spicy mayo is perfect to dip the fries 😋 My husband loved his Chicken Marsala which had such a great flavor!

June 2026 Fav Eats ~ started strong with this amazing sushi roll from TABE Fusion called the “Chill Roll” it was so refreshing, loved the presentation 🤩

My fav dish at Huna Bar is their coco shrimp, it’s perfection 👌

I finally tried the loaded tots at BIERCAMP they were sooo good 😋

We had the best time at the first ever Michigan Wine Festival, held at the historic Michigan Firehouse Museum in the heart of Ypsi. 🍷🚒 We enjoyed going around to all the different local winery booths, that spanned from all across Michigan. They also had a local brewery and distillery from town!

We bought our drink tickets to get a 2 oz. pour of whatever wines or spirits you wanted. I stuck to more crisp dry white wines since that is my go-to during the summertime, and I loved all that I tried, but my favorite of the day was by far Jenn 💙 Come to find out, they are a brand new winery located in Hudson, MI. They had the most floral and flavorful wines of the day. I really enjoyed the Farmhouse Traminette, which is known for flourishing in MI vineyards despite the cooler climate. This wine made me feel like I was on a farmhouse porch somewhere with wildflowers blooming all around me, it was so tasty and refreshing. 🌼🌸

I can’t wait to go back next time they have this festival, it was such a great afternoon sampling all the wines, shopping local vendors, and exploring the museum full of all the artifacts and history!
