Founded in Ypsilanti in 2010, we specialize in heirloom tomatoes, chiles, & other heirloom produce Ypsi-Grown and Ypsi-Made since 10/10/10.

Heirloom vegetable farm specializing in tomatoes and peppers, and artisan products made with the produce we grow. Small batch paprika, garlic powder, and other Nightshade products available seasonally and while supplies last.

It’s spring! That means farm cats napping on the row cover & our awesome heirloom spinach, salad mix, red russian kale, & the very first head lettuce of the year at Argus Farm Stop Liberty! It’s there under our Radicle Roots Community Farm label.

We just re-stocked our garlic at Argus Farm Stop Liberty location in time for your Fall Feast!! We brought 3 extra special heirloom varieties- Shantung Purple, Shandong, & Purple Italian.

It’s finally Heirloom Tomato Time for us tomorrow at Ypsilanti Farmers Markets!! We’ll have all sorts of sizes & varieties from mini cherries to massive beefsteaks! We’ll also have a large variety of heirloom peppers, garlic, basils, Italian zucchini & more. Come see farmer Ryan, 9-1!!

Hey everyone! We just dropped off more heirloom garlic, 5 varieties of basil, & the first paprika peppers of the season (& other peppers) to Argus Farm Stop Liberty location! We should have enough heirloom tomatoes to share soooon

We just brought our very first hot pepper & basil harvest of the season to Argus Farm Stop Liberty! Also more fresh-picked garlic scapes from our latest-maturing varieties Creole Red & Purple Italian!! We hope to be back at Ypsi Market when heirloom tomatoes are ready, likely early August.

3 more heirloom varieties of garlic scapes & the last salad mix for awhile have arrived at Argus Farm Stop Liberty location!! Garlic scapes are made for grilling & sautéing too, not just pesto! They are a very special seasonal vegetable that is one of our favorites. Try it, you’ll like it 🌱

Garlic Scape Season is Upon Us!! We are sending our earliest & extra special pink-tipped Asiatic types - Lotus, Shandong, & Shantung Purple to Argus Farm Stop Liberty tomorrow!! These types are sweet & best used fresh or sautéed lightly in olive oil. We will have other varieties soon as well that are better for making pesto.
