Pork Panko Makers of Pork Panko: a flaky, crispy, panko bread crumbs product made exclusively from finely ground pork rinds.

Pork Panko contains only two ingredients: pork skin and rock salt—which creates a deliciously low-carb meal. Bacon’s Heir is reintroducing the world to the simple wonder of the pork rind through our Pork Panko pork rind crumbs. Made with only two ingredients, Pork Panko emphasizes the power of a single ingredient to transform echelons of dishes we all take for granted as being necessarily unhealthy. With more protein per ounce than beef jerky, no carbohydrates, and a high tolerance for heat, Pork Panko upends the very verbiage of the "breading" category. Pork Panko adds an umami crisp to any dish without the glutinous guilt.

Forget — ⬆️ the ante with his Picanha Musubi (top sirloin cap)! 🔥🔥🔥

Ingredients:
picanha steak
rice
sushi vinegar
Japanese BBQ (such as )
SPG
almond oil
nori
Pork Panko
musubi mold

Preparation:
1. Make fresh rice and season with sushi vinegar.
2. Once cool, place rice in a musubi mold. Press out rice pads and then place in fridge for at least an hour.
3. Cut picanha roast into steaks (with the grain) and then rub with Japanese BBQ sauce. Season with a chunky SPG. Let sit for at least 30 mins.
4. Fire up grill.
5. While the grill is getting ready, prep chimichurri. Cover it and set it in the fridge.
6. Prep nori strips by cutting strips lengthwise, based on how thick picanha is and how long rice pads are. You do not want a super wide nori strip that covers the entire bite.
7. Take rice pads and coat them in Pork Panko until completely covered. Then, fry them in a pan with almond oil at 350 F until browned and crispy, about 5 mins on each side. Set aside to cool.
8. Grill meat to medium rare (or your preference). Make sure to let the meat rest 10–15 minutes, so it absorbs its juices. If not, you will end up with a mess on your hands when you try and plate!
9. Slice picanha once it has rested. (Slice against the grain for a tender bite.)
10. Time for the build: Take one of your crispy rice pads for the bottom. Place picanha on top of that. Then, wrap a nori strip around both the rice and picanha with the ends tucked underneath. Lastly, take some chimichurri and place directly in the center of the nori strip. Enjoy!
